The USCG recently fished a run-away buoy off the shoreline here in Oregon after a huge winter storm.  I know until recently I’ve always viewed these young men and women as the: “Help!  I’m an idiot, I’m on the water and I can’t get off!”  However, having been impressed by a Kevin Costner movie about the USCG rescue swimmer, I have a new appreciation for them.

Yes, I’m an idiot and I’m on the water…  Incase you too have thought of them as the H2O-911 call, you may find the video an eye-opener.
