Do you own or know anyone who owns a 1979 Newport 30 Mk II? We’ve got a reader who is caring for an elderly lady’s boat and they need to replace the forward hatch. If you own one and would you be willing to make a pattern for them? If you’ve a spare one (yeah, who has that?!) would you like to get intouch with them?

Have a 78 N MKII and had to build a fore hatch for it last year…once the boat gets out from under about a foot of snow, I will be happy to make a pattern and send it.

AHOY THERE! I also am in need of a new hatch for my Newport 30, if any one could supply me with info on what they have done who to contact ,models of new ones to buy, including flush mounts. plans photos ect. it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Sincerely, Steve
