Condiments are one of those really important items to pack when you go cruising in your sailboat.  There are lots of fresh foods and canned foods along the way but your favorite jar of mayonnaise may not be.    So for those of you who planned ahead here’s a great no cook sauce for your seafood.

1 Cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon each finely chopped fresh or 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley, chives, tarragon and chervil.

1 tablespoon capers, drained and rinsed

1 small sour pickle, chopped

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.  If you’ve juiced a few lemons and have the halves still you can use them as cute holders for this sauce.  Super great on grilled fish or with shrimp or scallops.
