Hi Chuck,
I went to the marine store and just looked for one that wasn’t too big and looked similar to what’s on the life line, you know…where it opens for the cockpit. I wanted something with a pull-ring on it so I could attach my line.
I think mine is a tad bit too big as it ‘clinks’ against the ladder when you pull it open but it works and that was my objective so I’m ok with the clank.
