I like to make the dough and freeze them to bake on the boat. It’s a nice surprise for everyone and they stay frozen for a bit so I don’t have to bake them the first day out. I will make them smaller for baking on the boat but nice and big at home. Not going out on your boat? You don’t have to freeze them just go ahead and bake.

6 eggs

1 lb brown sugar

1 1/2 tea vanilla

2 C granulated sugar

4 tea baking soda

1/2 lb butter

1 1/2 lb peanut butter, your favorite

9 C oatmeal

1/2 lb semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 lb white chocolate M&M’s

1/4 C chopped nuts, your favorite

Mix eggs, sugars, vanilla, baking soda, butter and peanut butter. When mixed well add remaining ingredients. Use ice cream scoop to form balls, you can make them smaller if you like…but we love Monster sized cookies. Freeze on cookie sheet. When frozen pack in zip type freezer bag. Thaw before cooking.

Bake at 350* for 10-12 minutes, varies depending on your oven. Makes about 8 dozen monsters.
